Do you have stainless steel pots like me? When you are cooking do you always have to use a potholder to pick up the cover of your pots, like me? Well make this cute, easy, and quick Pot Cover Cover and be fearless in the kitchen again!

Materials:
  • Yarn: 1 skein of Bernat Handicrafter or any cotton yarn
  • Hook: 5.0 mm, US H-8

Abbreviations:
ch = chain
dc = double crochet 
dc2tog = double crochet two together 
st(s) = stitch(es)
sc = single crochet
sl st = slip stitch

Notes:
  • Read through pattern instructions carefully.
  • Depending on how big your pot cover handle is you may want to adjust the pattern. You can do this by adding an additional round of dc increasing.
Instructions:
Begin with a magic circle.

Ch 3. 10 dc in circle, join with a sl st in top of ch 3.

Ch 3. dc in same st. *1 dc in next st, 2 dc in following st.* Repeat * around. Join with a sl st in top of ch 3..

Ch 3. dc in same st. dc2tog around. Sl st to join.

Ch 1. sc around. sl st to join.

Finishing:
Fasten off and weave in all ends.
