Instructions:
Creating
the bottom
Begin
with a magic circle.Ch 1. 6 sc in circle.
2 sc in each st (12 sc). Place sm in first sc, move sm with each new round.
1 sc in next st. 2 sc in next st.
1 sc in next 2 sts. 2 sc in next st.
1 sc in next 3 sts. 2 sc in next st.
Repeat this sequence until you get to 1 sc in next 7 sts, 2 sc in next sts or about 3 inches in circumference.
Creating the sides
Sc around. No need for sm anymore.
Sc until the bag measures about 4 inches in height.
Creating the eyelets
Ch
4 (counts as 1 dc, ch 1), place sm, skip next sc, dc, ch 1 in next
st.
Skip
1 sc, 1 dc, ch 1 in next st. Continue until you reach the sm, slip st
into the ch 4 space.
Ch
1, sc in each ch 1 space and dc around
Finish
off.
Creating
the strap
With
smaller hook ch 50, sc, follow these directions:

Weave
the strap thru the dc eyelets.
Join
the strap ends together with a tapestry needle.
Finish off and weave in all ends!
